📋 How to fill in your prediction
- Group Stage scores - Enter a predicted scoreline for all 72 group matches across Groups A–L. Use whole numbers only (0, 1, 2 …).
- Live group tables - As you type, the standings table for each group updates instantly, showing points, goal difference and who qualifies.
- Best third-place teams - The table below the groups shows which 8 third-place sides rank highest and would qualify for the Round of 32. This updates automatically.
- Knockout bracket - Once your group scores determine the qualifiers, each knockout match slot is filled with the two teams. Pick a winner for every match from the Round of 32 through to the Final.
Changing a group score will update the knockout bracket.
If you go back and alter a group result after selecting knockout winners, any knockout pick whose teams change will be automatically cleared - you'll need to re-select that winner. Check the knockout section after any late edits.
How ties are broken — if two or more teams finish level on points, we follow the official FIFA rules:
- Head-to-head record between the tied teams (points → goal difference → goals scored)
- Overall goal difference across all group matches
- Overall goals scored across all group matches
- FIFA ranking as the final decider*
* The official rules use fair play points (yellow & red cards) before FIFA ranking, but we skip that step to keep things simple — we don't track card data!
